Aaron Walker

Aaron Walker graduated as a Podiatrist in 1993 and now has practiced for 30 years
internationally including; New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia.
He has a sports background, competing at elite levels in Athletics and Hockey in his
youth and has continued to be involved in sports throughout his life.
Aaron is passionate about his work and takes every opportunity to share knowledge
with his colleagues and patients. He takes prides on being a leader in his field and in
recent years has been working closely with colleagues to develop improved treatments
for patients with poor balance, through the application of traditional Biomechanics and
Sports Medicine principles with contemporary approaches such as neuro kinesis. His
aim is to achieve predictable results with measurable outcomes through the application
of evidence-based practice integrating podiatry as a key service at Move osteopathy.
You will find Aaron to be very patient centric and results driven with a broad depth of
knowledge gained from his long and successful career as a podiatrist along with his
postgraduate studies.
His career to date has allowed him to work in various countries and settings with
highlights that include; consulting to the Newcastle Knights Rugby League and
Newcastle Jets soccer clubs for over 10 years, providing expert assessment for the
International Rugby academy in NZ and establishing foot health clinics in Indonesia.
In recent years Aaron achieved a lifelong dream to serve the community by studying
paramedicine and working on the front line in the New Zealand ambulance service.
In his spare time you will find him at the Gym, cycling, hiking or lazing by the pool with
his wife and son. He enjoys traveling and takes regular trips to visit family in Sweden
and Indonesia.
