Alberta Guadagnini

Alberta Guadagnini – Remedial Massage Therapist

Born and bred in Italy, Alberta moved to Australia a few years ago. Her interest and knowledge in how the human body moves comes from her extensive experience as an athlete. Alberta competed for the National Italian Gymnastics and Ski teams and has worked closely with other professional athletes.

Her passion for anatomy, movement and performance, along with a strong desire to help people achieve a pain-free life, brought her to study Remedial Massage Therapies. Alberta strongly believes in both re-hab post injury and pre-hab exercises to prevent issues or injuries from occurring. Preventing as well as resolving is paramount! This is the reason why she likes to study the way her clients move, to teach them how to move better and to keep them as active as possible while dealing their issues. Making the difference for her clients’ present and future is her ultimate goal!

Fully qualified enthusiastic and passionate Remedial Therapist, she has completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at QAcademy in Brisbane. She is also a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association and a registered practitioner of the Australian National Register of Accredited Natural Therapist, listed on the CMPAC Register of Practitioners.

Specific issues and conditions that Alberta regularly treats and has success with include:

Headaches and migraines – Neck and back pain

– Chronic ongoing muscle pain – Muscle spasm – Sport injury management and prevention – Overuse injuries

– Frozen shoulder – Rotator cuff injuries

– Sciatica – Hip/Leg pain

– Strains / Tendonitis – Poor posture

A professional pole dancer and instructor, yoga lover and ‘books eater’, Alberta likes to spend as much time as possible being active.
